Sydney Beach Tennis School

🏖️🎾 Beach tennis for juniors is played on sand and combines elements of tennis and volleyball. Kids use special racquets and softer orange tennis balls, which are easier to control. The ball is always hit in the air, as it cannot bounce on the sand. 👦👧 During the session, kids learn the basic skills of the game—how to hold the racquet, control the ball, and play with a partner. We also run games that develop balance, change of direction, and movement on sand. The net height and court size are adjusted to suit kids’ abilities. Sessions run for 60 minutes and are limited to a maximum of 6 participants, aged between 6 and 15, so each child has time to play and receive guidance. Cost: $25 per session, or 10 sessions for $230 within the term.
